RE-RELEASE OF SWING KIDS: SPECIAL EDITION
Word from an inside source at Diznee known only as "Da Mouse":

Harold. Da mouse here. some juicee gossip on a coming re-release to capitalize on a hot fad: swing dancing. Disney is re-releasing their Hollywood Pictures 1993 release "Swing Kids" b/c they think that all the hot fads about swinging and swing music will make this film suddenly far more entertaining and worth seeing. They're also adding 76 minutes of edited footage, and adding computer-generated footage of FDR and Winston Churchill in one of the party sequences. In addition, Kenneth Branagh has requested that his cameo be deleted from the movie because he regrets doing it. So theyr'e replacing him with Howard Hesseman from WKRP using the gump technology as well. Very hot property.

I was a huge fan of this movie when it came out so it will be extra kewl to see it again. But will it translate to a younger audience, maybe people who were only 12 or thirteen when it was first released, but who are now 17 or 18? we will C....
