JAMES DOOHAN CAMEO IN STAR TREK 9!
Ok gossiphounds, you know I luv 2 give U the kewlest Star Trek scoops for your geekish bad selves. Try this tidbit on for size. It's from a kewl new source called David Duchovny.

"Harry--very kewl news from STNine set. I saw Jimmy "Scotty" Doohan in a studio on the Paramount lot today and since I'm a big fan of the original series, I went in to talk to him about what he's doing there. So I went in and chatted with him...very kewl guy. I asked him what he was doing on the lot, and at first he was very quiet about it, but I pressured it out of him with lots of compliments about his kewl years on the original ST. He then revealed that he will have a special cameo in ST9--as a PLANET! He's apparently so huge that he's going to play a planet with lots of CG effects covering his body. i watched him shoot some of his scenes--he basically stood in front of a blue screen and spun around in one spot while a camera shot him. Apparently the Enterprise will land on his head and will do some exploring on his ass as well. I think it's so neat to see the TNG cast still making connections with the original series cast. I dunno how they'll explain how Scotty became a planet, tho..."

KEWL! I wanna autograph! I can't wait to try to spot Scotty in the starry sky!
