Yet another page from the "Does this REALLY Exist?" entertainment file: Laverne and Shirley in the Army. Apparently, back in the day someone thought that it might be clever to take the top-rated sitcom and turn it into a cartoon. Of course, the show itself doesn't really need to be animated...so why not put the girls in the army to spice things up, give them A TALKING PIG WHO WALKS LIKE A MAN as their commanding officer, and send them on wacky missions like fighting giant gorillas and meeting space aliens?

How could this get made? Who watched this? Why did this happen? Was EVERYONE on acid in the seventies?!?!
